Astra Militarum

The Astra Militarum, also known as the Imperial Guard, is the primary ground fighting force of the Imperium of Man in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It consists of billions of soldiers organized into regiments, supported by powerful tanks, artillery, and other heavy weapons. The soldiers of the Astra Militarum fight bravely against the myriad enemies of the Imperium, often under extremely difficult and deadly conditions.
