Dark Mechanicum

The Dark Mechanicum is a renegade sect of the Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus. These Tech-Priests, also called Hereteks, have turned their loyalty to the Chaos Gods. They use forbidden technologies and dark sorcery to create powerful machines and weapons. During the Horus Heresy, they fought on the side of Warmaster Horus, spreading chaos and destruction across the galaxy. After the rebellion was quashed, they were exiled to the farthest corners of the galaxy, with some finding refuge in the Eye of Terror.
